A night of fractured images...
Walking around a gas station wearing the discarded clothes of a co-worker. In particular, I'm wearing an oversize gray jacket - despite the fact that this co-worker is four sizes smaller than me - and a gray skirt and black sweater that fit me fine.
I run into the co-worker while in the gas station's convenience store, and my mother-in-law, also. They declare that I look just like the co-worker in question. This pleases me - probably because she's so thin - but it leaves me rather uneasy and embarrassed.
I walk out onto the blacktop and meet my sister-in-law, Melissa, and her infant daughter, Emily. Emily is lying in the sun wearing nothing other than a diaper and I worry that she's going to get burned. Melissa tells me that there's nothing to worry about, Emily is in the shade in their car - they had just stopped for gas and a chance to walk around a bit. I don't know where they are going, nor do I ask.
I want to leave, but I can't, as I am waiting for something, but I don't know what. I am restricted to wandering around the gas station and becoming quite bored. I wish I had brought a book.
Tell me your dreams
