Una Carmine - Cast of Characters

    Una Carmine
Artist, architect and sideways thinker, Una happened to be in the right place at the wrong time. Following a rather unusual incident with an Agent, Una was freed by Malachite - read about it in Unplugged.

    Malachite
As one who has been living free for the past fifteen years, Malachite sometimes wonders if she's getting too old for all this. But as commander of the Charlemagne she can't turn her back on her responsibilities. Usually patient, when Malachite's temper explodes, it's a sight to behold.

    Thoth
Thirteen years old and recently unplugged, Thoth is having some difficulty adjusting to his new life. His sterling computer skills and quick mind are a vital asset to Malachite's crew, but his dependence upon the ship's constructs is rapidly becoming a liability. Thoth will be featured in the upcoming story Cutting The Cord

    Ivan
Ivan is the main operator for the Charlemagne. He is vital to the crew's well being, and he knows it. Fortunately, he's a modest - if blunt spoken - man. As a "child of Zion", Ivan will sometimes wryly refer to himself as a 'one-man pep squad' as his presence on the ship often serves to remind the crew what they are fighting for.

    Titan
Cheerfully self-deprecating and of apparently limitless stamina, it is Titan who keeps the Charlemagne together while Ivan is supervising Malachite's crew inside the Matrix. He's also the only guy on the ship who knows how to operate the still, so his popularity is assured.

    The Charlemagne
Once, the Charlemagne was at the top of its class, but that was many years ago. By now, the Charlemagne is a ship that is held together by faith, baling wire and Titan and Ivan's skill. Malachite is constantly hoping she will be able to obtain a new vessel, but resources are scarce and she doesn't have enough sway with Zion to demand preferential treatment.

    Other Matrix Fanfiction

Legal blather: The Matrix and associated characters belong to Warner Brothers, Inc. and the Wachowski brothers and probably a whole bunch of others who I'll never meet, either. Fan fiction is homage and I really hope those nice chaps at Warner's legal department understand that. I'm not making money off this and I'm broke, so I'm definately not worth suing.
