Jeremy Archdeacon is finally asserting himself, if only in anger, but this may be typical for a Brujah Prince. As the investigation of Feld's death apparently dwindles, the more secure he becomes.
Some are still investigating the death of the former Prince. Spirit Interface - one who I have not ruled out as a suspect - believes that a pack of Black Spiral Dancers (corrupted lupine) who are currently murdering humans for their own purposes may have killed Feld. I am doubtful abou that, as the Dancers are killing people to feed into a demonically possessed machine they control, whereas Feld's death was a political assassination.
More likely connected to Feld's death is the fact of multiple murders - not mutiliatory (as in the manner of the Dancers' killings) - happening in this area.
There is also a matter of a budding demonlogist in the area. Someone has stolen vital tomes concerning necromancy, demon summoning, and blood magic, as well as books that particuarly focus upon two rival demons, Cor and Tarn. Marcus DeCantii fears that an individual in this area - human or kindred - seeks to pit these two demons against each other and, somehow, destroy them and attain a demonic state himself.
Strangely enough, Marcus DeCantii, of the order of Hermes, has invited the ghoul, Mattie Storin, to a magii conclave. Surprisingly, she has accepted. In other matters, she seems to be content with whoring her meager influences for blood and money.
Theresita Giovanni (aka Theresa Garrison, in San Francisco) has been disowned by the Ventrue clan of San Francisco because of her actions in that city, and a pair of San Francisco Brujah appeared at court to mete out some of their signature-style justice for her actions in burning down a Brujah haven in San Francisco some months ago. Whether she will remain as Seneschal in Contra Costa is yet to be seen. In my opinon, if she is allowed to retain her position, it will be proof that she somehow has Prince Archdeacon by the balls.
However, the fact that Archdeacon, once informed of the situation, allowed the Brujah visitors to thrash Theresita is a sign that perhaps her star has finally fallen.
Ezra Darke, a female Tremere, is still the subject of rumor and speculation. Her superficial adherence to the Traditions is as solid as any other member of court, but rumors persist in following her - including that of her possible involvement in the death of the former Prince. If I have time, I shall endeavor to investigate her.
I have learned that Lady Bartholomew, sire of Devon Ashcroft and Grandsire of your own Toreador Primogen, has been confirmed as extant within the city of London and - if the Nosferatu of that city are to be believed - she is gathering her forces for an attempt to seize influence within your Parliament.
The Prince of Alameda made a brief appearance at the most recent court, for unknown reasons. I am attempting to learn more about that situation.
